Dolphinarium, Harderwijk
The restaurant de Dageraad is situated on Dolphinarium beach. At the end of a nice day you can enjoy a beautiful sunset with a delicious drink. This location is also ideally suitable for parties and business gatherings. Spacious and professional sanitary facilities are obviously important here.
The technical know-how and products from Arturo and UZIN were used for the renovation of the floors. The technical work was in the hands of Van Voorst Projektendienst from Ede and BE Vloer en Visie from Oldenzaal. The sanitary spaces were designed by the company Toletto from Hengelo.
Renovation of toilet facilities and baby care area
During the renovation of the toilet facilities the floor plan was rearranged with improved logistics and capacity. The wall visuals, Arturo floor and clever details in the sanitary facilities ensure the areas are ease to clean and hygienic.
Design
On the request of Toletto, Arturo Studio came up with a concept that matched the design of the spaces and the wall visuals. The self-smoothing floor was installed by BE Vloer en Visie from Oldenzaal.
Restaurant renovation
The existing floor in the restaurant part was not stable. On the advice of UZIN, the existing parquet floor was removed including the wooden construction and the various transitions between floors were tidily repaired. The floor was then levelled with UZIN NC 170 Levelstar smoothing compound. A “wooden look“ LVT was then installed over the whole area using UZIN KE 2000 S pressure sensitive adhesive. For van Voorst Projektendienst this metamorphosis a was nice technical challenge due to the problematic subfloor and many corners. With the new floors the Dolphinarium can welcome large numbers of guests each day without any problems.
Floors for change
The visitor experience at the Dolphinarium is great and now continues within the sanitary spaces. Arturo floors made an important contribution to the perception of these spaces.
