Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver for Arturo PU2030 Self-smoothing Floor
A good three years of research along with intensive cooperation and product development resulted in Arturo being awarded the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver for Arturo PU2030 Self-smoothing Floor on 7 April 2021. And we are proud of this! It is an important step in making our product circular.
Cradle to Cradle Certified®
The Cradle to Cradle Certified® certification scheme assesses the general sustainability of products throughout their whole life cycle. Arturo PU2030 Self-smoothing Floor has satisfied the strict requirements for the silver certificate for which all parts are examined. The Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver Arturo PU2030 Self-smoothing Floor even won gold in the Renewable Energy category!
Material Health
At least 95% of the materials used have been investigated and found to be healthy.
Material Reutilization
More than 65% % by weight of the product consists of recycled, recyclable, biodegradable or quickly renewable materials.
Renewable Energy and CO2 Management
The product is manufactured practically CO2 neutral and with use of 100% renewable energy.
Water Stewardship
All measures concerning sustainable water management are implemented.
Social Fairness
Arturo embraces social responsibility by supporting social regional projects and by using and guiding people at a distance from the employment market.
Making the chain more sustainable together
Cooperation in the chain has been exceptional in particular. Some 95% of all materials used have been investigated for their origin, and changed where necessary to a sustainable alternative to hence obtain the certificate. Arturo has provided intensive cooperation with suppliers along the whole chain to this end. The chain has again been made more sustainable by obtaining Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver.
Arturo PU2030 Self-smoothing Floor contributes to obtaining the building certification systems
The use of Arturo PU2030 in construction can, thanks to Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver, help in obtaining building certification systems such as LEED, BREEAM and DGNB. This makes Arturo PU2030 an excellent choice for “sustainable building".
