A former horse stable converted to a golf club with 220 m² of Arturo self-smoothing flooring in a modern concrete look
Hotel Hofgut Georgenthal in Hohenstein has already been offering highly personalised hospitality for more than 300 years. It was built by Prince August Samuel von Nassau-Idstein (1677-1721) in 1692 as Zehnthof. Many owners duly followed until Heinz Hankammer took over the princely country estate. With ties to his fatherland he renovated and modernised the old walls and opened the luxurious private Hofgut Georgenthal in the year 2000. You can leave everyday life behind in the hotel, enjoy the wellness, have a nice chat by the open fire or enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine. There is also an 18-hole golf course that was opened in the spring of 2014.

Arturo self-smoothing floors ensure the correct feel-good atmosphere in the golfing shop 
In May 2014 the new golf club building with golfing shop, reception, offices, store and locker rooms were opened. Some box walls in the shop remind us that the building once housed a horse stable. Now there is a small, fine range of golfing attire and equipment.
Obviously the self-smoothing floor to match the exclusive atmosphere was also a must. The choice was for an Arturo PU2060 Self-smoothing Floor system in an attractive concrete look (RAL 7030 mixed with RAL 7039). The floor was sealed with highly wear-resistant mat sealer, Arturo PU7750.

Maximum safety thanks to an anti-slip coating.
A safe anti-slip self-smoothing floor was laid in the locker rooms with changing rooms and showers on the top floor. Mixing anti-slip granulate in the Arturo PU7750 Sealer created slip-resistance class R 10.

Characteristic and practical
Besides a seamless, attractive look, the self-smoothing floor from Arturo offers excellent walking comfort, high abrasion resistance and easy cleaning. The durable floor system was laid by Inside-Plan Flooring Systems GmbH.
