Dental practice for patients with a fear of dentists
In December 2013 dental practice topDentis Cologne opened its doors for the first time in the new premises of the traditional Carlswerk in Cologne, Mülheim. The dental practice is established on more than 600 m² in an unoccupied factory with a loft character. This project, that is unique in Germany, is a concept from dentist Armin Safavi-Nab that already exists for years. The feel-good atmosphere helps calm patients with a fear of dentists during treatment.
With Arturo floors all spaces are given the right feel-good atmosphere
The effect of the floor plays a decisive role in creating the right atmosphere for nervous patients. The choice was for an Arturo self-smoothing floor system. The laying company Albrecht GmbH Estrich and Beschichtungen laid a modern, sand-coloured Arturo PU2060 Self-smoothing Floor system in a concrete look (RAL 1019 mixed with RAL 9010) in all spaces. The result is a unique and relaxing working environment in which patients and dentists can truly feel at ease. The Arturo PU self-smoothing floor system also ensures increased walking comfort, hygiene and is highly durable.
The new practice offers room for more than 12 therapy rooms, two of which for treating with implants, a spacious waiting room and a training space for their own staff and colleagues from other practices.
The highlights of the practice include the seamless self-smoothing floor system from Arturo, the complete digitisation of the practice, the ultra-modern X-ray technology and a nitrous oxide pressure system. This enormously helps to support the treatment of patients with a fear of dentists.
